Seventh day in Japan

Dinner in town

Here are some scens of our dinner together in town and the train ride home.

We are having campai (a toast, or "cheers") together

It was nice to sit down after a day on our feet.

Here is some of the food we ate. The dish on the right contains fried fish fins.

It was late when we headed for home and the trains were crowded. We rushed to get on the train and I had to smash Masako into the train before the doors closed.

Poor Michie and Masako were lost in the crowded train - it was packed like a can of sardines. Here they are trying to come up for air.

I am taller than most Japanese and could get this shot over their heads.
