Eleventh day in Japan

Kamakura

More pictures at Kamakura.

At the daibuhtsu there were also a lot of Japanese in addition to the foreigners. Here are some of the younger generation.

This is modern Japan. (Are these girls lost from Shinjuku?)

At the Hasedera Temple we enjoyed sake and snacks and a nice view of the harbor on the Pacific Ocean

At the train station in town there was an old fashion gin-rickshaw. The woman in the kimono is getting 2000 yen to pay the driver for her ride to the station.

The driver says "arigato gozaimasu" (thank you very much) for the payment.

He is off to find another passenger.
