A Trip to Nagano

After visiting the Zenkogi temple we drove (1.5 hours) to our ryokan onsen (hot spring)

Dinners at the ryokan onsens are always a special treat. Ours was no exception. Yoshiko and Takiko are happy.

We are all happy.

Yoshiko likes to talk while she eats.

This is the outdoor bath area. It was a mixed bath except between the hours of 7pm to 9pm. There were three other bath areas, but we liked this one by the river best.
