Ray started back at work today. He didn't want to, and was feeling sick before he left.
We opened up our business bank account at lunch time.
I then had troubles starting my car, Lizzie, as my imobilizer wasn't switching off.

Ray is coming over tonight after Indoor cricket for our Australia Day BBQ tomorrow.

Rang 'The Bridal Factory' to check my hoopskirt is in. I'm picking it up tomorrow!
Ray and I had a meeting with Fastbooks to get our wedding guide published. We've ordered 50 copies to start with.

Picked up hoopskirt. Bends more than I thought it would, but makes it easier to carry!
Tried it on when we got home. Swished around a bit, and then Ray proved he would have no difficulty dancing close to me at the wedding.

My 23rd birthday. Best so far!!!
So much better than last year when everyone deserted me. Ray made me pancakes with maple syrup and cream for breakfast. We were going to see a movie, but I wasn't feeling too well, and slept all afternoon. I got a CD from him (one I requested as our wedding waltz song is on it), coat hangers from his parents, a gold necklace from Nana and Margy, and microwave containers from mum and dad.
Then Ray took me out for dinner.
Have I mentioned how sweet and caring he is? I adore him so much, and wouldn't swap him for anything in the world!

Lavinia rang up to check when my birthday was. Talked about her new job. I asked her yet again to send me info for her shower tea, seeing as her wedding is in about 4 months, and she wants it in the Easter holidays.

Ray got the new job he applied for!!! I am so happy for him. He'll be happier there and get more money as well.

Dad drove me into Glebe to pick up our printed books this afternoon. I was impressed with the final result. They look so good!
Can't wait to start selling some of them.

I got offered a block of teaching at Seven Hills West public school for this term. I accepted it for the trial period of 3 to 4 weeks. I will be teaching year 4 and there is supposed to be only one problem kid in the class.
5th February, 2000
Start on that class tomorrow. Very nervous about it all.
