Continued... And if I wanted my CDs to come pick them up from her screen door. I beeped her back immediately asking where she was because I was there. I didn't waste time writing I'd been there since five to twelve.. How could she possible miss me? Her reply was she was at home. That she had been sitting out the front and that I wasn't there. Well I know I was there, cooking in the sun. As she had said she'd be late, you would have assumed she would have looked around for me when she arrived, and I wasn't hidden from view. There were no big crowds around. Either she didn't turn up at all or did and chickened out or couldn't be bothered looking. I rang Ray to come and pick me up. He was not in a good mood about her not showing when she had called the meeting. We went straight to her place to get my CDs from the door. Ray went to get them, but they weren't there. He was walking back to the car when she came to the door with the CDs and a piece of paper in her hand. He just took the CDs, said thank you and left. She couldn't even look him in the eyes. She was obviously expecting me to be there. Now the time it took between her message to Ray picking up the CDs proves we were at Macca's. Ray didn't tell me this till later on, but he also said the ute hadn't been out recently. So she's not going to be in my bridal party anymore, even if we do make up. I just don't need the stress of a bridesmaid who isn't going to support me fully at a time when I'll really need it. So now I have to find someone else who is willing to stand in for me. Wonder if Jo still wants to be a part of it? |

We went to a BBQ at Carolyn's last night. But I was too tired, physically and emotionally to enjoy it. Crashed when I got back to Ray's. He told me this morning he didn't get to bed till late, as I had fallen asleep on his side and he didn't want to wake me up to move me. Jo rang tonight and asked what had happened, and why I didn't turn up to the meeting. I explained I had been there, and if Lavinia had truly wanted to talk, she would have found me. I don't want her to get involved in this mess. I asked her outright did she still want to be my bridesmaid, and she was very adamant about yes she would. We talked for a while about her starting uni, and my dress fitting I organised today after paying some on the dress. I only need one on the 26th August, and then try it on the day I pick it up (I'm taking it home before the Olympics start now). I am so happy she still wants to be my bridesmaid!!! :-) |

Got my hair trimmed by 2 inches today. Made an appointment to have my hair done for Stacie and Carlo's wedding in 2 weeks. In all the worrie from the weekend I forgot to mention I went to her kitchen tea on Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious, and we got to see Stacie's dress and the dress Callie will wear as the bridesmaid. Ray started his new job today. He was really looking forward to it! |

Rang up places to get dancing lessons for Ray and myself for the wedding today. Booked a lesson at Penrith Dance Studio. They recommend having 4 half hour lessons, and let you select the song you want (as long as you bring the CD with you). Our first lesson will be next Friday night. Exciting stuff! |

Got the rings engraved this morning, despite Ray complaining that you'd never see it. I want them engraved, so it was done! Went to 2 jewellery stores and they both recommend taking them to Mr Minit (which I thought strange), but we took them down and he did a wonderful job. They had stamps in them from the company that made them, but he managed to fit 'SavRay 7-10-00' in mine and Ray's. |
