It was a horrible day! I have 5 really terrible boys in my class who upset the rest of the class, and have it in for me as I'm a female teacher, and they've had a male teacher for a week who let them get away with anything. Came home and cried on mum and dad. I hope tomorrow shows some improvement.
The highlight of the day was Ray remembering out first anniversary together. Not that I could say much to him on the phone, I was trying so hard not to cry.
10th February, 2000
Staying at Ray's tonight. The travel from home to Seven Hills in traffic each morning is really getting to me. It took over 90 minutes yesterday to get to work.
Had school swimming carnival today, which was good in a way as most kids went home after it.
11th February, 2000
We came back to my place tonight so I can hopefully get some stuff planned for school next week. Had a meeting with one of the troublesome boy's mother this afternoon. He actually told her he is mucking up in class. How dumb can you get?
12th February, 2000
I am sick today. First time Ray has had to take me to the doctor. We couldn't go to my GP as he isn't open on weekends, so we went to the one in Richmond Market place.
He is so concerned about me. We'll stay here another night for me to get better.

Got Raymond a packet of Yowies for Valentine's Day (he loves the little toys you make) and he got me a box of chocolates.
Lavinia spoiled the romantic mood of the evening beeping my mobile, demanding we take her and Jo's photo and name off our bridesmaid page on the website. She's concerned some weirdos will find it. Honestly what can they do with an old picture and a name?
15th February, 2000
Rang Jo this evening, and agreed to take her photo off the site, even though you can't find it without the URL. I know as Raymond spend 8 hours trying to find it using search engines. It has to be listed for it to be found, and I haven't listed mine. I know this from advertising our business website.
Had a really bad day at work as well. So bad I burst into tears on Cheryl from the room next door to me. This is not working out. I need help. We went and saw the AP about this and she's going to talk with the class tomorrow morning.

Ray is getting sick of me crying and being stressed out all the time by Lavinia's actions and attitude towards me, so he's writing her a letter to tell her all is not well with her friendship.
17th February, 2000
Quit the block of teaching at Seven Hills West today. Went in and saw the acting Principal, and told him I'm not coping well with the class and can't continue past Friday. He was grateful that I'll stay till then. They have a hard time finding casuals at that school (no wonder!). All the staff are understanding about me leaving. I'm just not getting enough support for that class. A lot of the teachers say if they had some of those kids they'd have strangled them already.
Have to pick up Nancy's wedding invite from Lavinia's tomorrow.
