We went and bought Easter eggs this morning. We received a flyer about a wholesale place in Castle Hill, so we went and got some for our parents and Ray's nieces, as well as for the i-do picnic.
Than I abadoned Ray for a couple of hours as I went to Nancy's kitchen tea. It was a huge event...probably comes from the familes are of Italian and Maltese descent. There were 64 women there, and I've been told there will be about 200 people at the wedding.
We played lots of games. But after 3 hours, and finding our she wasn't going to open the presents there, most people left. Tha't's understandable, as its a long time and you really turn up to see what the lucky bride gets, as well as catch up with friends and family.
Saw Lavinia there, and thought it pointless to ignore her, so I started talking to her, thinking all she could do was ignore me. But she didn't, and we talked a bit until she went home. So at least I know it shouldn't be too uncomfortable at future events with my school friends, even if we aren't the close friends we used to be.
We booked the hotel for the Easter weekend in Canberra. Going to the same place as last year.

Finally got back on the net today. Dad did something to the computer and it wouldn't dial up for the internet. I was so relieved to be able to get back on today, after he fiddled with the dial up program.

I decided I wanted to make some Easter eggs today. So we bought the chocolate and came home and found out mum has thrown the moulds out. Searched the shops in Richmond and couldn't find any. Will have to check out Spotlight tomorrow.

Went out with Anita, and little Liam, today to look at bridesmaid outfits. Had a fun day looking, but we're dreadful at deciding, especially as we really need Jo there for her approval as well.  Showed her the one I had like previously, but found another one I liked even more and it looked great on her. It was in Harts.
It was indigo (very deep blue)  in colour, and had a medieval type look about it. But it might be a bit much in price. So we went to Spotlight to see if we can get a pattern for it. We found two that show the basic dress, but none yet that do the scrunchy bit at the bust we liked.
So we're on the hunt for pics of this dress that we can take to a dressmaker with the basic pattern and see if we can get it done cheaper.
We also found a few choices of shoes and jewellery that would match the dress.
Raymond found some chocolate moulds in heart shapes, so we bought those and triem out at his place. He enjoyed making chocolates!

Barry, Pauline, Kelly and Brodie came over from WA to surprise Nana, seeing as she hasn't been too well lately.  Nana cried at first when she saw Barry there. I think she liked the surprise.
We head for Canberra tomorrow morning. We booked into the Diplomat again, but a simpler room this time. We're saving the spa up for our honeymoon!
Picked Ray up from work this afternoon. He walked to work, as he reckons he need to get fitter.

EASTER
Got back from Canberra this morning. Had a wonderful relaxing time! The service was so great, and the food was scrumptious!!! We didn't talk about wedding plans the whole weekend, and came back ready to face the countdown to the day.
Going to family BBQ tomorrow at Susie's, seeing as the WA mob are here till Thursday.
