29th May, 1999
Went and paid more on dress. Had appointment to see Richmond Club about having our reception there. So far their package looks best, and is the cheapest. Made booking to view their function room set up for a wedding. The staff are very friendly and it is where Jo and Mark had their reception. I liked the wedding, except for the DJ they had. We're going to get our own.
5th June, 1999
Raymond had to help out with Air League at Blacktown Festival today, so Lavinia, Micheal and I went into the city to look for wedding shoes. In Panache we found some nice strappy ones for Lavinia and some for me. I thought I'd prefer fully closed shoes, but the half closed in were more comfortable, and I will be doing a fair bit of standing on the day. Brough them home with me.

Our parents met for the first time today when we all went out to lunch. They seemed to get on well.
12th June, 1999
Went and saw Adorable Limousines today. Limo was great and in perfect condition! We're getting the 5 foot one, so we have a bit of extra room, which I'll need with my dress.
17th June, 1999
Met Lavinia in Penrith to view a cake shop. Weren't able to get a proper quote as the lady who makes the cakes wasn't it. I still have no idea what I want in a cake.
We booked the photographer we net at St Mary's Band Club's bridal expo. His style is traditional but does a few fun shots, and we got on well with him. One more thing done.
18th June, 1999
Had a complimentary Mary Kay skincare treatment tonight. Jo and Lavinia came up for it. We weren't impressed with the products much, and would have preferred being shown how the make-up would look for the wedding, rather than trying to convince us to start their skincare treatment first. Don't think I'll get them to do my wedding make-up, especially as everyone noticed she put too light a foundation on.
26th June, 1999
Paid more off on my dress this morning. Then we set off to Richmond this afternoon to view the room set up for a wedding. The Hawkesbury and Phillip room were opened up into one, and the dance floor was set up in the middle. Looked beautiful!! Dianne suggested we book the two rooms like that seeing as we'll have over 90 people, and it doesn't cost any extra. Sounded great to us, so we did. I think our guest will appreciate having extra room between the tables! Plus a nice big dance floor for my dress to swish around on. We decided we'll have our parents sitting on the bridal table with our party.
1st July, 1999
Paid deposit on photographer today. He suggested more places where we can have the photos take, although I think I still want McQuade Park in Windsor.
7th July, 1999
Lavinia and I went to the North Richmond florist today to see about flowers. They weren't very helpful and the quote they gave was a lot more than the place in Richmond. The lady was also rather insulting about the style of bouquets different shaped women should have for their wedding. That wasn't very tactful, seeing as lavinia is looking for her own wedding as well.
