We had our first dancing lesson last night...and it was so much fun! Ray seemed to really enjoy it as well, which made me really happy!!!
I can't remember what the dance is called exactly; a four step or slow step??? But I can' remember all the steps so far, and Ray is getting there. We're also learning some basic dances to keep us from getting bored with our bridal waltz, and so we can do a bit more dancing at the wedding, other than the hold each other and shuffle.
We don't practice just to the song which we're using, which is quite a good idea. This way we won't be sick of the song by the time October 7 comes around!!!

Haven't been sleeping properly for a while. Been too stressed. Finally got close to decent sleep last night after taking some St John's Wort.
Waiting to hear back from a friend as to whether she an afford to be my bridesmaid (in time and money).
Had second dance lesson tonight. I cringe each time he says we're doing something wrong. In my opinion it doesn't have to be ballroom perfect. Just something different for us to enjoy. Ray is trying so hard.

i-do Parramatta shopping spree day
Wow. It was so much fun having a day out with a bunch of girls who are getting/already married! I throughly enjoyed the day.
We were all a bit nervous at meeting each other, spotting each other by the i-do gebera we wore or the photos we've seen from each other's websites. We ended up having there Heather (and H2B Ben), Michele, Kelly (and Sera), Anita (and Rhiannon and H2b David), Katie, Darnell (and Tamika), Dianne (and H2B Jeremy).
We looked in Park Avenue at dresses first. Tried mine on to see if my torsellette will show, and thankfully it won't. Kelly tried on a dress that looked really good and the train is longer than mine!
We then trooped along to a coffee shop to talk some more and get to know each other. Then off again to some more shops.
Ray beeped my phone when we're in Grace Bros admiring the Easter eggs, saying he was bored, so he came to meet us early. A walk through the Disney store and then back to Park Avenue to meet up with Dianne, Jeremy and Ben.
We settled on having lunch at Blackforest cafe, but unfortunately Kelly and Sera had to leave.  We had lunch, and took photos (or Lisa@i-do would have killed us).
Dianne, Jeremy, Heather and Ben had to leave to do other things; but the rest of continued shopping.
We went to Lyncraft. Anita found some blue material for her dress and veil; I found some Anchor threads to complete a cross-stitch work I've almost completed.
Ray and I left after 3pm, as he was starting to get a bit bored of shopping, even with me. He was so good to come out for the day with us, and he did enjoy meeting the girls (and guys).
I hope we can make it to the picnic Tracey is organising next month. Will see what happens!

Went looking at computers today. Ray's is driving him nuts...to slow, and not enough space on it. But I think we'll have to wait until after July 1st.
We made the bonbonierre this afternoon. They look so nice, and I've sealed them in our Christmas cake tupperware container, so they don't go off.
They have tulle circles with gold edging, almonds and choc hearts in them, tied with green ribbons and little roses.
As we haven't bought the bridesmaids dresses yet, or heard back from who will be my 2nd bridesmaid, I was a bit worried if we decide to change the colour of the dresses. But then it won't matter too much, and I'm not retying those ribbons!
We have enought green ribbon left over for many Christmases to come!!!
