We went to Target this morning, and the scan guns were working. Thank You!!! So we went around scanning items....well I picked them up and Ray scanned. He loved it!
We got most things scanned that we wanted from Target. After 3 hours Ray's legs were complaining so we went had lunch and went home.
His parents went out to dinner, so we had fun cooking together and eating in front of the television.
3rd April, 2000
Haven't head back about the job yet...they might be one of those companies that says they'll phone and don't! But I'm not too worried about not getting it. At least I tried my best and it's given me practise in interviews again.
Our modem line has been disconnected by Telstra contractors, so we've had to plug it into our main line today. Gets fixed tomorrow.
Composed a poem today to include in our invitations about presents. Printed it up on coloured paper and put them and the Target cards in the invitations.

Second phone line got fixed today.
Sealed invitations with gold seal stickers. Finally, most of them are ready to send out. They fit on my desk better now!

I have another Bridesmaid now!!! I'm so excited.
Anita Delaforce, who I met through the i-do website agreed to be my bridesmaid, and even composed a little acceptance poem. So sweet! Here is what she wrote:
Your e-mail message filled my day with glee,
Your bridesmaid - I would love to be.
The dresses are fine, whatever you like,
of course making them would guarrantee they're right.
Styling and make-up, no problems there,
Glad to have somone doing MY hair!!!
Make-up I could do myself but would rather
be pampered, what better way to start your special day!
Jewellery's fun, I'm sure we will find
things that are beautiful where money's no grind.
Shoes I love but you will have to choose
I am way too fussy and barefoot won't do!
Be there for your fitting and do what I can,
Just let me know and I'll give you a hand!
I'm so looking forward to being able to go out and select the outfits now. Just need to find a day that is suitable for all. Hopefully won't be too far away!!!

SIX MONTHS TO GO!!!
It's getting closer, and I'm once again excited about the wedding, now that we have our bridal party sorted out.

Ray got his hair cut this morning. I hate it when its that short, but it grows quickly. We went and saw two movies; one last night and one today.
Glen told us at karoke that he can't dj for us. We're very disappointed about that!!! :-(
Will just have to make sure the person the club hires pays attention to our instructions. And I think we'll get one of our friends to MC. I don't like the idea of someone doing it just reading from a piece of paper, not knowing Raymond and myself.
