We had our meeting at Richmond Club today. Turned up at 9, to find the club doesn't open till 9.30am. Luckily the door lady let us in, and we could sit down and wait for Tammy. Ten minutes later, she still hasn't shown up, but another lady is going back and forth with wedding supplies. It's Dianne, who's seen us on other occasions.
She asked the girl at the door who were waiting for, and then took us in, as Tammy still wasn't there!
Went through all the arrangements again; menu, DJ (who we have to have now as well as MC), when to bring numbers and place seatings in, etc. Luckily we'd checked what the price should be before we went in, as Tammy had added more than 10% to it. Dianne almost did the same thing too when working from the original price, till Ray corrected her.
My flu feels worse today than it did all last week!
We then went to pick up my wedding dress, which has been taken in, and fits snugly. We also updated the registry while we were there and were pleasantly surprised to see that some people have started using it!

Finished the place cards today! But haven't enough energy to do anything more today. I'm feeling much better than I have been the past few days, but still have an annoying cough, that is aggravated by Dad having just painted a bookshelf in here.
I've been waiting all day for a real estate rental person to ring me back about making an appointment to see a townhouse we're interested in renting. I've left so many messages, and rung so many times, but she's never in!!!

Inspected another townhouse this afternoon...Ray got the afternoon off because of the Oympics starting this evening.
It was a nice place, but didn't have enough room for our cars.

Came up to mum's today for my fourth make-up trial, due to Vicky not being able to do it anymore. At least it was free, because the company was at fault.
I showed her the photos of what Vicky had done, and was pleased with the result. On the day she's going to put false lashes on as well.
18th September, 2000
Looked at a townhouse in Prospect this afternoon. We love it!!! It was one we wanted to look at before...must have changed which agent they're dealing with.
It's got kitchen, dining room, lounge, laundy and toilet downstairs and is tiled. Upstairs is the 3 bedroom with built in robes, and bathroom. The main bedroom even has an ensuite!
We faxed the application in as soon as we got home...but the girl seems pretty confident we'll get it.

We took our ID in for 100 point check this afternoon for the property application.
Drove home and got a message from Ray to say "We got it!". Our application had been approved. We have a home now!!! Move in on the 30th September.
21st September, 2000
Had my eyes checked today, in case I needed new contacts before the wedding. They were fine, but I placed an order for new glasses lenses. Although I only wear them a few minutes each day, they're from 2 prescriptions ago and are a bit blurry.
