Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Not all of the old Card of the Day files are working right now. All of the old files should be running within one month. About 70-85% are working now. Sorry for the delays getting new cards done too. Things are getting back to normal rather well.

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Nameless Race

The Dark Rare
3B Summon Nameless Race

*/*
Trample
"Pay * life when bringing Nameless Race into play. Effects that prevent or redirect damage may not be used to counter this loss of life. When Nameless Race is brought into play, * may not be greater than the total number of white cards all opponents have in play and in their graveyards."

A brief rundown of the card:

Isn't that "can't prevent this loss of life" thing redundant? Anyway, Nameless Race is potentially one of the most powerfull cards in all of Magic. If circumstances are right (and you got enough life), Nameless Race could be 20/20 trample for only 3B (Minion of the Wastes cost 2 black mana more). If you know your opponent's deck well, you could deal tons of trample damage very quickly with but one Nameless Race. I'd be hesitant to play such a creature against a deck with Fissures and Desert Twisters, but Nameless Race can be a crippler against any deck that takes a while to set itself up. Only big problem with the scary Nameless Race is they need white cards for some reason. There's ways to make many white cards for your opponent, fret not:
