"If Thalakos Seer leaves play, draw a card."
A brief rundown of the card:
A 1/1 shadow creature is pretty expensive for UU, but drawing cards is invaluable. There are many ways to wreap many rewards from Thalakos Seer, you just have to add an extra card or two into the mix. Here are some ideas for one of the wierdest looking creatures around:
- Teferi's Curse
This is by far my favorite. If the Thalakos Seer has phasing, he'll leave play every other turn, netting you a free card every other turn. If you have the luxury of keeping this combo around for a long time, you'll surely have a huge card advantage over your opponent.
- Cloak of Invisibility
Heck, Cloak of Invisibility not only makes your Thalakos Seer phase out every other turn, but it also make the seer unblockable except by walls. Spiffy. Deal one damage, draw a card, deal one damage, draw a card...
- Shadow Guildmage/Civic Guildmage
Both of these critters have the ability to send creatures back to the top of your library. Combined with Thalakos Seer, this can provide you with a fairly cheap card drawing mechanism.
- Wandering Mage
Yup, that was "Summon Wizard".
