Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Not all of the old Card of the Day files are working right now. All of the old files should be running within one month. About 70-85% are working now. Sorry for the delays getting new cards done too. Things are getting back to normal rather well.

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Plague Rats

1a, 1b, 2E, 3E, 4E, 5E Common
2B Summon Rats

*/*
"Plague Rats has power and toughness each equal to the number of Plague Rats in play."

After several more months of playing, I realized that even if I did somehow eventually get 4 out, the price of paying 3 mana for those little rats early in the game wasn't worth it. 4 4/4 rats wasn't going to win me many games, and even though 3 mana for a 4/4 creature is a steal, just 4 wasn't enough. If you haven't tried a rat deck, give it a whirl. There are some choice rats nowadays. Here's some cards I use to get the most out my rat deck--particularly trying to squeeze the most out of Plague Rats:
