A brief rundown of the card:
There aren't too many creatures that won't benefit greatly from this neat enchantment, yet some benefit much more than others. Here's a list of creatures I feel gain the most from Wings of Aesthir:
- Blistering Barrier
Sure, it's a wall. It will be a nearly invincible wall with Wings of Aesthir. 6/2 flying first strike walls are tough to kill.
- Grizzly Bears/Barbary Apes
These unsuspecting green weenies become a fierce 3/2 flying first strike. Cheap combo to produce a nasty little flyer.
- Elvish Ranger/Craven Giant
Both of these creatures are 4/1 and only cost 3 mana. Add a Wings of Aesthir to the mix, and you got a critter that can knock down an Archangel without getting hit back.
- Crown of the Ages/Enchantment Alteration
Bounce that enchantment from creature to craeture with either of these fine spells. The threat of giving any of your creatures first strike and flying at a moments notice will slow down any opponent.
