Remember to hit reload every day or else the new card may not load!

Check out my handy-dandy archive list organizer! You can find this table at the top of the list that is sorted by color, and at the very bottom of the page. The color list is cleaned up fairly well, and partially alphabetized already. As far as I know, there aren't any bugs, but I haven't tested every aspect yet. I also have the list sorted by date just where it was before. I plan on keeping it for ever in addition to the nice color/alpha sorted lists. I disposed of all temporary dead links for a little whlie. I marked files on the color list that have been updated within a week with the words NEW!. Chris

In this web page, I hope to present to you strategies, combos, and obscure uses for a new Magic: The Gathering card every single day.

The Card of the Day is...

Spirit Shackle

Legends, 4rth Edition Uncommon
BB Enchant Creature

"Put a -0/-2 counter on target creature every time it becomes tapped. These counters remain even if Spirit Shackle is removed."

Black sure is tops in cheap creature removal versatility. Along with Terror, Dark Banishing, Royal Assassin, and many others, you shouldn't have too hard of a time finding a cheap black spell that suits your defensive needs. Spirit Shackle is better and worse than the aforementioned cards in a few ways. Pro: It works on any kind of creature--Spirit Shackle doesn't care if the creature is black or an artifact. Pro/Con: Spirit Shackle is an enchantment compared to instants or other creatures. This can be good and bad (good if you plan on it--more on that later). Con: Spirit Shackle may kill a Grizzly Bears with but one tapping, but it may take 4 tappings to kill a Force of Nature whereas a Terror will do the job instantly. Con: Spirit Shackle is not very effective against creatures that don't tap to attack. You decide. A must in any prodominately black sealed deck, Spirit Shackle does have a few constructed deck combos that kinda rock. Here they are:
